Refund Policy
We handle personal data under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California). See the sections below and our Cookie Policy.
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to paid subscriptions and one-time charges for the lit.onl URL shortener and related services at litonl.com (collectively, the “Service”), offered by RabbitFoot Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”). It supplements our Terms of Service. By completing checkout you acknowledge this Policy.
Summary
We do not offer refunds, credits, or pro-rata returns for subscription fees, plan upgrades, add-ons, taxes, or currency conversion differences, except where applicable law requires a remedy we cannot lawfully refuse. All charges are final once processed.
Merchant of record
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates (“Paddle”), which act as merchant of record for most transactions. Your receipt and tax invoice are issued by Paddle. Contractual billing terms shown at checkout (price, interval, renewal, tax) are binding. Manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through Paddle’s customer portal where available in your account billing settings.
Subscriptions
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you select (e.g. monthly or yearly) until you cancel before the next renewal date.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period, including unused time.
- Downgrades. Moving to a lower plan takes effect per in-app and Paddle rules; we do not refund the difference between plans for periods already paid.
- Upgrades. Upgrades may be charged immediately or on a prorated basis as shown at checkout; such charges are non-refundable once paid.
- Plan limits. When a paid subscription ends, features and limits revert to your then-current free or paid tier rules; we do not compensate for data, links, or analytics visibility beyond plan terms.
Digital service — immediate performance
The Service is digital software delivered online. After payment, access to paid features is provisioned promptly (typically immediately). Where consumer law provides a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract, you agree that performance begins at once and you lose the right of withdrawal once provision starts, to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect non-waivable statutory rights.
No satisfaction or “change of mind” refunds
We do not grant refunds because you no longer need the Service, forgot to cancel, misunderstood plan limits, did not use features, experienced third-party outages unrelated to our core redirect API, or disagree with analytics figures. Evaluate the free tier and plan details before purchasing.
Abuse, suspension, and termination
If we suspend or terminate your account for breach of the Terms (including abuse, illegal destinations, or circumventing limits), you are not entitled to a refund for fees already paid. We may withhold or revoke access without refund where permitted by law and our Terms.
Billing errors and unauthorized charges
If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge after confirmed cancellation), contact us promptly with transaction details. We will investigate with Paddle and correct verified errors (e.g. reversal or credit on a future invoice) — this section describes billing accuracy, not a general refund program.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unwarranted chargebacks may lead to account suspension and recovery of fees and costs where allowed. Paddle may provide additional dispute information on your invoice.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits remedies that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence (for example, certain consumer guarantees in Australia, the EU/EEA, or the UK). Where a mandatory refund or remedy applies, we or Paddle will comply. This Policy is not legal advice; interpret it together with Paddle’s checkout disclosures and your local law.
Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes apply to future purchases; continued use of paid plans after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted.
